In 2025, Lixin Construction Group celebrates its 30th anniversary. On January 15, the new headquarters of Taiwan Matsuzawa, located in the Yilan Science Park, was officially inaugurated. The Matsuzawa headquarters will produce seismic isolation equipment, including vibration control technology imported from Japan OILES. This not only brings fresh vitality to the Yilan construction industry but also opens unlimited possibilities for the national construction sector.

On the opening day, notable figures from government, academia, and the business sector attended, including former Legislative Yuan Speaker You Si-kun, former Council of Agriculture Minister Lin Tsung-hsien, Executive Yuan Minister without Portfolio and Engineering Council Chairman Chen Jin-de, Bureau of Science Park Management Director Chen Zong-quan, Vice Speaker of the Yilan County Council Chen Han-zhong, Yilan University President Chen Wei-rong, Japan OILES President Iida Masaya, Japan OILES CEO Sakae Yoshikazu, Japan OILES Director Masuda Koichi, Japan JIC President Yoshii Tomohiko, among many others. They highly praised the years of effort and contribution by Lixin Group and expressed hopes that Taiwan Matsuzawa could drive the development of the Yilan Science Park and the broader Taiwanese construction industry.

The newly completed corporate headquarters covers an area of approximately 1,000 ping (about 3,300 square meters), with a total investment of NT$310 million. It adopts leading seismic isolation structural technology to reduce earthquake impacts and enhance building safety. The headquarters includes a multifunctional conference hall, seismic experience facilities, and a digital sample house, offering highly interactive construction displays. The Engineering Hall presents the four major construction methods of Lixin Construction: Structural Engineering, Safety Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Waterproofing Engineering. The structural engineering section collaborates with Alfa-Safe's Dai Yunfa column middle-column technology, emphasizing structural strength enhancement. The Matsuzawa Seismic Museum focuses on developing various seismic-resistant, vibration control, and seismic isolation devices, offering tailored isolation and vibration control solutions for Taiwan’s building environment.

The establishment of Taiwan Matsuzawa and the introduction of Japan’s leading seismic isolation equipment trace back to the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. At that time, Chairman Wu Songyuan was in Tokyo and personally experienced the terror and far-reaching impacts of the earthquake and the resulting disaster. This experience inspired him to establish Taiwan Matsuzawa Seismic Isolation Equipment Company. After six years of effort, they successfully introduced Japan OILES’ seismic isolation patent technology and related equipment, obtaining production certification. This not only reduced equipment prices by half but also provided Taiwanese buildings with enhanced safety under the concept of "Japanese Quality, Local Price."

Chairman Wu Songyuan emotionally expressed, "These seismic isolation devices may not make me a lot of money, but they can improve the safety of Taiwanese buildings. This is my mission to the construction industry and my lifelong dream."

During the opening ceremony, the Taiwan Matsuzawa Seismic Isolation Equipment Factory passed numerous rigorous evaluations and officially received certification as a Japan OILES-certified factory. A certification ceremony was held with representatives from Japan. Taiwan Matsuzawa's Assistant Su Yuxiang pointed out that the certification process was extremely strict, requiring compliance with multiple national standards and rigorous demands on quality management and manufacturing details. In the future, Taiwan Matsuzawa will focus on the manufacturing and R&D of seismic isolation equipment, leveraging Taiwan-Japan technological collaboration to enhance seismic safety and elevate the Taiwanese construction industry to new heights.

Looking ahead, Lixin Construction Group views building not only as a technology but as a commitment. With the concept of "A journey of happiness, starting from home," they will use their headquarters as an innovation base to drive the international development of construction technology and industry, creating more iconic and sustainable works.
